Krista Dankiw-Ludwig, CRNP
OBGYN Nurse Practitioner in Pottstown & East Norriton, PA
Krista Dankiw-Ludwig, CRNP (certified registered nurse practitioner), began her OB/GYN career as a registered nurse working in labor and delivery at both the Montgomery Medical Center (now Einstein Medical Center Montgomery) and Hahnemann University Hospital. Her early experiences as an RN included working with both healthy and high risk maternity patients, assisting in cesarean births as a scrub nurse, fetal monitoring during labor, counseling throughout pregnancy and post-partum care including post-cesarean/post-anesthesia care and breast-feeding and infant education.
Those early experiences inspired Krista to commit to more traning in OB/GYN services and pursue additional training to become a nurse practitioner. In her early career as a CRNP, she had the gratifying experience of helping patients overcome infertility problems. This experience complemented her academic training and prepared her for her role at Total Woman Health and Wellness as a provider of OB and wellness care to women of all ages.
When she’s not working with patients, Krista loves to explore nature and the great outdoors with her husband and two rambunctious dogs (especially beaches) — not surprising, since she started her career exploring her interest in biology and working with dolphins. She also worked as a addiction counselor after graduating from Millersville University with a degree in psychology, an experience that solidified her interest in helping others and led to her path as a nursing student at the Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, from which she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2008, and her further education at the Jefferson School of Nursing, where she earned her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2012.
